    • All of their real-life counterparts raced in the year 1990 to 1999 whereas Gold Ship raced in the year 2011 to 2015.

  • Team Ascella also contains two unnamed Umamusume who appear throughout Main Story - Act 2.
  • All of their real-life horse counterparts featured in this team were once ridden by jockey Yuichi Fukunaga.
  • During the Epilogue chapter of Main Story - Act 2, King Halo and Cesario note that Team Ascella's trainer managed to train a Triple Crown Umamusume.
    • Although this Team Ascella member remains unnamed, fans presume this Umamusume to be Contrail, a Triple Crown winner who Yuichi Fukunaga also rode.
  • In a September 2024 video for Netkeiba shortly after the release of Main Story – Act 2, Fukunaga, now a trainer, accepted Team Ascella as his team.[3] The following August in another Netkeiba video, he welcomed Iori Saeki and Haruka Sato to the Fukunaga Stables for a tour.[4]
