Trivia
- Her initial character profile and announcement was uploaded on the official Twitter account on February 15, 2017.
- "Umamusume: Pretty Derby Artworks Vol.1" explains why her character designer made specific choices when designing her in relation to her real-life counterpart, which were as follows:
- As her real-life counterpart found success after transferring from Kasamatsu Racecourse to JRA central racing, the star she wears on the center of her collar represents the "the Star of Kasamatsu".
- The yellow diamond crown atop her head is reminiscent of the gold diamonds found on her real-life counterpart's jockey silks.
- Her sturdy boots are in reference to her real-life counterpart's historical story that, while facing injuries and ailments, making a spectacular comeback at the end of his career.
- Her Cinderella Gray costume is a semi-limited trainable unit, meaning that it could be pulled from gacha but cannot be chosen with paid 3-star trainee vouchers.
- This is the first time a certain trainable unit from an already existing Umamusume became semi-limited. The initial trainable units of other semi-limited characters released prior to Oguri Cap's costume alt were all semi-limited.
- Oguri Cap has a tendency to shake herself from side-to-side, a trait that is present from her in-real-life counterpart which often means he is in a good mood. While it is subtle in her in-game G2 or lower victory animations, it is in full display in the anime and manga of Cinderella Gray and her idle animation in the costume of the same name during the Career mode.
- In the Global version of the game, she has a line where she talks about a debate she had with Tamamo Cross earlier on whether pineapple goes on pizza or not. However, in the Japanese version, the original line was talking about whether squid should be grilled whole or not.
- Her Christmas alternative outfit is based on when a fan gave the real life counterpart a Christmas-themed hood around the time of his final run at the Arima Kinen.
