Appearance
Suzuka has long, silky reddish-orange hair that cascades gracefully to her waist. Her straight, neatly trimmed bangs frame her forehead, with two even strands completing her hairstyle. She wears a simple white headband secured with a silver star accessory. Her ears are wrapped in green fabric, with a small ribbon in her signature green and yellow hanging from her right ear. Her vivid aqua-blue eyes complement her graceful demeanor.
Her outfit features a collared white dress with puffy shoulders, highlighted by horizontal and vertical stripes in green and yellow. The sleeves transition into fitted green arm covers with button details and striped cuffs. Gold clasps run down the center of the dress, lending an elegant touch. A navy-blue ribbon tied into a bow at her neck is adorned with a golden star clip. And she wears a simple pair of black gloves on both hands.
Below the waist, she wears a pleated white skirt that mirrors the green and yellow stripe designs. She pairs it with dark purple tights and mismatched heels—one white and one brown—each adorned with charming green ribbons.
Relationships
- Special Week - Best friend and roommate. They met each other when they were assigned as roommates, and Suzuka later transferred to Spe's team. The two are teammates on both the anime-only team, Team Spica, and the game-only team, Team Sirius.
- While Special Week looks up to Suzuka, Suzuka often finds herself moved by Special Week’s earnestness and optimism. Special Week's presence helps Suzuka open up and find joy in racing beyond just the act of winning. When Suzuka suffers a major injury, Special Week was often there for her in the hospital to assist in her rehabilitation, while providing companionship and moral support.
- Air Groove - Friend and rival. While Air Groove is a bit strict with her, considering how spaced out Suzuka can be, she still cares for her. They have a friendly rivalry, and Groove gets very excited watching Suzuka race, much to her embarrassment when others like Fukukitaru point it out.
- Matikanefukukitaru - Friend and rival. Fukukitaru supports Suzuka in her racing career, though she wishes to surpass her. Suzuka doesn't understand her obsession with fortune and the supernatural, but enjoys her companionship.
- Taiki Shuttle - Friend.
- Admire Vega - Friend. The two of them occasionally stargaze together.
- Stay Gold - Friend. As Stay Gold has memories of how the real Silence Suzuka was devastatingly injured during the Tenno Sho (Autumn), she looks out for her and her health. She races in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) with a cautious eye, and she visits Suzuka when she gets injured in the hospital.[1]

Trivia
- Silence Suzuka was one of the first Umamusume characters to be announced, along with Special Week and Tokai Teio. Even though she had appeared in the project before this date, her original character profile was uploaded to the official Twitter account on February 18, 2018 as a part of a giveaway campaign.
- Her voice actress, Marika Kouno, was announced to be playing this role through Twitter on July 27, 2017.
- "Umamusume: Pretty Derby Artworks Vol.1" explains why her character designer made specific choices when designing her in relation to her real-life counterpart, which were as follows:
- Her race outfits simplistic design was chosen due to the real horse being described as "a fast and functional beauty."
- The hood, bridle, browband, and ball tied to the mane of her real-life counterpart are incorporated to the design as her ear covers and various hair accessories.
- Her loafers are two different colors to represent the real horse having one brown hoof and one white hoof on his hind legs.
- She is the only member of Team Spica who never won one of the races of the Triple Crown or Triple Tiara.
- Despite the real life counterpart having a blaze, this was not incorporated into the Umamusume design.
- Her tendency to walk around in circles counterclockwise was adapted from the real horse, who used to spin in circles in the same direction when stressed.
- In her summer alternate outfit, it was Special Week who helped her out with her hairstyle.
