Trainer (トレーナー, Torēnā) is one of the supporting characters in the Umamusume Anime.

He's an anime-only character, but plays an important role of the formation of Team Spica.

Appearance

His cool and confident demeanor shows in his face, with him usually sporting a cocky smile, and always having a lollipop in his mouth. He has tanned skin and small, sharp amber eyes. His brown hair is fluffy in the front, but he has an undercut on the left side of his head, with the back of his hair tied into a small ponytail, and his chin sporting a small amount of stubble. He wears a black vest onto a simple yellow button-up dress shirt. His black pants are held up with a white belt with a gold buckle. He wears plum-colored dress shoes.

• Although no official name has been given, being credited as simply Trainer, fans call him by different names:
  • Okino T/Okino Trainer - Based on the name of his VA, and Misato Akasaka's VA calling him this during the 4th Umamusume Live Event.
  • Ryo Nishizaki (西崎リョウ) - This name appeared on the official book of the setting materials for the anime's first season.
• His appearance is similar to that of Yo Oizumi, who has appeared in some JRA commercials.
• His license plate number is 10-07, as shown in Episode 7 of the original anime.
