Snow in Hazard is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, featured in the Star Blossom manga.
Biography
A talented Umamusume who's sensitive to the cold, and lacks the tenacity and passion to win. Snow in Hazard is from America, a childhood friend of Hishi Amazon, and has an older sister who was a champion racer in North America, even defeating a Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner. She is a resident of Miho Dormitory.
Snow has been shown to be physically stronger than some Umamusume, as she used a snow shovel with only one hand.
Appearance
Snow is a tall Umamusume with a strong build. She has light blue eyes and long, dark, wavy hair. She often wears a bored expression, expressing little interest in anything besides facing strong opponents and keeping warm. Snow is extremely sensitive to the cold and regularly wears a hoodie with her uniform as well as track pants under her skirt.
Relationships
- Sakura Laurel - Friend and rival. It was Laurel who first got Snow to put effort into her races.
- Hishi Amazon - Childhood friend. The two grew up near each other in America, with Hishiama even staying in Snow's older sister's care at some point.
- Ishigami Isao - Trainer. Isao does his best to support Snow while she usually completely ignores him. He's become used to this.
Trivia
- Due to her placement in the race she shared with Sakura Laurel, Snow in Hazard is speculated by fans to be based on the real horse Taiki Blizzard.
- In addition to that, her unnamed older sister has been speculated to be Theatrical, the 1987 American Champion Male Turf Horse and Hishi Amazon's sire.
