Biography
Cinderella Gray Anime Introduction
Jo Kitahara's uncle, and a veteran trainer affiliated with Tracen Academy. While visiting Kasamatsu on vacation, he was immediately interested in Oguri Cap when he witnessed her running. He boasts legendary skills as a trainer, and has trained many successful G1 Umamusume.[1]
Trivia
- There is a running gag in the manga/anime where Jo would constantly mispronounce Ginjirou's last name as "Roppei" whenever they meet, which an annoyed Ginjirou would correct him every time with "It's Musaka! (Musaka da)".
- The characters in Musaka can be read individually as ro (六) and hei/pei (平) in some circumstances, both of which are on'yomi pronunciations. The last name Musaka was derived from “Mutsu no Aka” meaning “six red”, which over time became the last name Musaka with a different kanji iteration, technically making it a nanori pronunciation.[2]
