Summary

Tracen begins promoting the relay race, as Daiwa Scarlet, who is unable to join after an injury, checks on the teams led by Biwa Hayahide and Winning Ticket.

Plot

Announcement of the BNW relay race directed by Symboli Rudolf is made, with Narita Taishin watching on.

Next, Daiwa Scarlet is in the Student Council's room, there, Rudolf asks her to do a revision of every team and get a comment about the race from every BNW member. She accepts and starts this by going to Team W. This team was training in the track and is formed by Ines Fujin, Tokai Teio, Eishin Flash, Special Week, Vodka, Winning Ticket and Admire Vega. Ticket with the help of her team says the comment: "A ticket to the victory for the team W and sweets to our mouth"

After Scarlet goes to check on Team B in their meeting room. Hayahide is giving a class to the members of her team, those being: Mayano Top Gun, Mejiro McQueen, Rice Shower, Matikanefukukitaru, Super Creek and Manhattan Cafe. Hayahide is very strict and does not even give a comment because that would stop her class.

Finally Scarlet goes to team N, all the members are just relaxing in a park. After seeing this Scarlet says that they don't seem like a team. Gold Ship gets offended by this and makes everyone start training. It's shown that the members are Mihono Bourbon, Seiun Sky, Agnes Tachyon, T.M. Opera O, Air Shakur and Gold Ship. After all the presentations Scarlet asked about Narita Taishin and everyone said that they don't know her, this makes Scarlet panic because she doesn't want to disappoint Rudolf.

  • The teams of the relay race consists of Umamusume who, like the members of BNW, have won a leg of the Triple Crown. This is the reason why other Umamusume in the OVA like Daiwa Scarlet are not participating in the relay.
    • Team B consists of Biwa Hayahide, Mejiro McQueen, Mayano Top Gun, Rice Shower, Matikanefukukitaru, Super Creek and Manhattan Cafe, all of whom won the Kikuka Sho.
      • Even though Narita Brian replaces Hayahide in the next episode, she also counts towards the theme as she won the Kikuka Sho as a part of her Triple Crown wins.
    • Team N consists of Narita Taishin, Gold Ship, Mihono Bourbon, Seiun Sky, Agnes Tachyon, T.M. Opera O and Air Shakur, all of whom won the Satsuki Sho.
      • Interestingly, this team has the most double crown winners, those being Gold Ship, Mihono Bourbon, Seiun Sky and Air Shakur.
    • Team W consists of Winning Ticket, Special Week, Tokai Teio, Vodka, Ines Fujin, Eishin Flash and Admire Vega, all of whom won the Japanese Derby.
