Summary
Team Spica supervises school festival preparations at Tracen when they hear about Team BNW, a group consisting of Biwa Hayahide, Narita Taishin, and Winning Ticket.
Plot
The two favorites Biwa Hayahide and Winning Ticket have just lost at the Tenno Sho (Autumn) while Narita Taishin was watching them from the stands.
Next, Team Spica is training and after finishing they go to their room. In there they start talking until Trainer appears and announces that they'll have to supervise the school harvest festival.
After this they divide into groups and begin supervising, Spe and Tokai Teio go together and see Haru Urara. They learn that Urara is in charge of the cultural area and that she has a rival, Yukino Bijin, who is in charge of the craft part. Following Oguri Cap and Spe asks Yukino about the food that is in the boxes she was organizing.
Afterwards, Vodka and Daiwa Scarlet go to the hair salon zone. This is getting directed by Gold City and Scarlet decides to ask for a turn for both of them. They talked with her about the BNW (Term used to refer to Biwa Hayahide, Winning Ticket and Narita Taishin) until she finished Hishi Amazon's haircut. Then Vodka sees a heroic suit on the wall and suddenly Biko Pegasus appears, almost hitting her with a kick, but Biko doesn't stay longer in there because Hishi Akebono takes her.
Later Mejiro McQueen and Gold Ship are drinking something in the cafeteria of Manhattan Cafe. They then notice that the BNW members are being distant from each other.
After that, the Spica members entered the Student Council's room. In there they find Symboli Rudolf, Air Groove and Narita Brian seeing the repetition of the Japanese Derby where the BNW participated, after showing this, Rudolf explains that her plan is to do a race where the BNW would compete against each other in three teams so they could join again, but the problem is that she didn't tell them about the plan. Spica at first don't want to cooperate, but they get convinced because the winner gets a free pass for sweets for one year.
Next, McQueen finds Biwa Hayahide in the hallways and decides to ask her if she wants to participate in the race, Hayahide accepts. Thereafter we see Teio and Spe, they pass through the kitchen where Eishin Flash and Sun Visor were working to follow Winning Ticket and they reach her but when they ask her to participate she rejects the invitation for pain in her muscles.
Afterwards we see Gold Ship eating ramen at a food cart directed by Fine Motion. When she saw Narita Taishin, Gold Ship tried to put Taishin in a bag of potatoes, but she dodged her. Next, Gold Ship talked to her about the race, but Taishin left without even letting her finish talking.
Later, Spe is at the cafeteria with Seiun Sky, Grass Wonder and El Condor Pasa. She tells them that Taishin and Ticket didn't accept being in the race and after saying this it's shown a mounting of Spe and Teio trying to force Ticket to accept joining the race and Gold Ship doing the same with Taishin, all of them failing. After this Teio tells Spe that she found Ticket, but before they go, Hayahide appears and tells them to follow her. She takes them, Gold Ship and McQueen to the track. In there, she explains that they got distant since the day she and Ticket lost the Tenno Sho (Autumn).
After, at night Spe with the other Spica members decide to call Silence Suzuka, who is in another country, for help with all of this. She talks about how she felt during Episode 9, saying that she thought that she only caused problems for her team, but Trainer made her realize that she could grow with her team. Assuming that is probably the problem that the BNW has. The scene ends with Spe saying that she'll take care of the situation.
The next day while Ticket was coming out of Tracen, Spe suddenly fells off a bicycle behind her. Ticket tried to help her but Spe started repeating all the things Trainer said to her and Suzuka in Episode 9 during the race. This confuses Ticket, but before Spe could say anything further, Teio and McQueen come up from behind a propaganda poster to start to criticize her plan. This makes Ticket laugh, and she decides to tell them about what happened. She explains that everything was great at the time of the Derby but after the three of them got injured they became distant and she couldn't stop blaming herself for everything. After hearing this, Spe says that Hayahide wants to run with her and that if Ticket wants to run with her, she shouldn't give up on that dream still.
The next day Rudolf and Brian see a big commotion, going over to investigate, they see Ticket distributing some flyers for the event with Spica. Hayahide sees this and she starts talking with Ticket. During this, Ticket says that she wants to repair their friendship through running, something that Hayahide agrees with.
