Transcend is an information-savvy Umamusume who loves delving into subcultures. She has a keen eye for the latest gadgets and her curiosity about what's new and cool always thrills her everyday. An excellent communicator, Transcend has the ability to pop into any group and join their conversation, hungry for the information she might find out.

Appearance

Transcend has rust-colored hair styled in a sharply-cut bob, with her sidelocks framing her face, and her blunt bangs slightly curving downwards towards her sidelocks. The rust-colored portion of her hair transitions into a jagged gradient as it goes upwards, becoming a dark brown at the top of her head, and has a white diamond-shaped blaze in the front center, which thins into a wispy 'tail' as it reaches her bangs. Her short, round ears are the same dark brown as the top of her hair, and her right ear is ornamented with a black cloth band, which in turn is wrapped and tied in a bow by a red string lace. Transcend wears red lense-less glasses that complement her reddish-pink eyes.

Transcend takes her glasses off while racing.

Transcend's racing outfit prominently features a loose techwear hooded jacket. The jacket itself is mainly a bright turquoise shade with white accents on the torso, lower edge, and collar, and has a white hood that Transcend keeps lowered. The outermost section of the sleeves from the shoulder-down are black, and features 'TRANSCEND' printed in blocky white text on both arms. Several red strap belts are present as part of the jacket; two sets form X's on both sides of her torso, her sleeves have one on each bicep area, and another wrapped several times around the bottom portion of her sleeves, with the end dangling past her arms. Transcend wears a black form-fitting turtleneck sweater under her jacket, with a white-and-cyan accessory around her neck that resembles a pair of headphones. She has a red-and-black fanny pack with four pin buttons with various designs on it slung across her chest, and wears a pair of black fingerless gloves. She wears black shorts under an asymmetric pleated skirt that only hangs on her right side, and wears similarly-asymmetric leg garters with an intact left garter and a torn right garter. A red lace similar to the one on her ear ornament is wrapped around her left thigh. She also wears black techwear boots, with her right boot having white straps and accents, and her left boot being completely black.

Relationships

• Wonder Acute - Roommate, friend, and rival. Acute isn't very good at things like technology and Transcend often helps her out with tech related issues. The two are close though and Transcend remarks that she believes Wonder Acute has the ability to be the best of the best.
• Smart Falcon - Friend and rival. Transcend admires her ability as an Umadol and thinks she has a lot of potential.
• Furioso - Friend and rival. Transcend remarks how Furioso has an "honor student" vibe to her and takes interest in how other students seem to avoid her. Transcend doesn't think Furioso is actually scary, just serious and focused on running and her studies.
• Espoir City - Friend and rival. Transcend thinks she's a bit cocky, but knows she's pure of heart. The two often go to watch races together, and Transcend remarks about how one time Espoir seemed startled by the intensity of the giant trackside screen, noting how it seems like Espoir seems to have a sensitive side to her as well.
• Curren Chan - Friend. The two get along well, and Transcend often gives Curren Chan info on things like trends and new overseas smartphone releases.
  • In real life, they were both trained by Takayuki Yasuda.
• Mihono Bourbon - Classmates. Transcend tries and helps with Mihono Bourbon's inability to use technology correctly to no avail.

• She was announced during the 3rd Anniversary PakaLive TV stream on February 22, 2024.
• Transcend has the 3rd shortest time gap from introduction to being playable trainee, at 19 days. This is behind Gran Alegria's 17 day window and Dream Journey, whose banner was immediately after her reveal.
• Her glasses aren't real, which is why she doesn't wear them while racing. She only wears them because she thinks they look neat.
  • In the in-game power training option where dirt flies into the trained Umamusume's eye upon failure, the dirt flies through Transcend's frames and directly into her eye.
• While training with the main version of Transcend, one of the in-game events includes an earthquake that references the same earthquake that happened in Japan on 11th March, 2011 in real life. Because of the scale of the disaster, which may lead the reference to cause discomfort in individuals affected by it, the official Umamusume X account posted a warning about the reference.
  • Transcend was the only Umamusume to have this warning until Furioso was released as a trainable unit, a similar warning posted on 20th January, 2025. This warning was also posted when Victoire Pisa was released as a trainable unit on 19th March, 2026.
  • So far, Transcend, Furioso, Orfevre, Win Variation, and Victoire Pisa are the only Umamusume to have the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake referenced in their careers.
• When her original solo song - ZOKZOK is put in a spectrogram, Transcend herself could be seen four times in it.
