Furioso is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
Biography
“Let's start training.... I have a reason as to why I cannot lose.”
A special exchange student hailing from Funabashi's Tracen Academy. Although sincere and quiet most of the time, there is nobody who loves Funabashi more than her, as she was raised there her entire life. In order to prove that Funabashi has some serious strength, she has but one goal in mind as she steps into Tracen Academy... To beat the competition and overrule central racing.

Appearance
Furioso has layered golden-blonde hair tied in a ring-shaped ponytail that juts out from behind her head. She has a blue headband with flowers on it that drapes over the left side of her hair. Her ears are long and pointed at the ends, and on her left ear is a white ear cover with three diamond charms with checkerboard patterns in them, and they are blue, purple, and pink from bottom to top. Like the other Brian's Time offspring in Umamusume, she has golden yellow eyes.
Her race outfit consists of an ornate doublet, short vest, and skirt. The doublet is primarily blue, with gold accents lining the hem and the zipper in the middle, going up to her mid-neck. She also wears a brown corset that sits right under her sternum. Over her top, she wears a white vest with blue and black accents. The cuffs on the vest are black and lined with white that goes all the way around to converge into a small diamond near the point. The main body of the vest is white and lined with black accents. The neck of the vest is high and black and white striped. On the back of the vest the blue is featured more prominently, with the back of the sleeves being light blue and the pattern on the back of the vest being a similar color. The pattern is like an arrow on both sides, with the fabric split down the middle. Above this pattern is a large F (for Funabashi). Over all of this, she has a light blue scarf with gold hems that drapes over her chest and down her back. The longer and wider side of the scarf has five red stars at the end, symbolizing her jockey's racing silks. Her skirt is blue, with a purple and blue checkerboard pattern on every third pleat. Four star-shaped gems connected to two belts on her corset sit over her skirt. Lastly, she wears brown crew-length socks with two purple X's down the side. Her shoes are primarily white, but the straps, cuffs and edges sole are blue. However, the bottom of the soles are bright red with a silver horseshoe. Like the rest of her outfit, there are golden accents on the strap buckles and lining the blue cuffs.
Relationships
- Espoir City - Rivals and Close Friends. Furioso prefers spending time with Espoir City alone and often eats with her in the cafeteria. Furioso didn't like Espoir City at first, due to her pride in her Funabashi heritage and seeing people from central as an enemy. However, after practicing with Espoir and Falcon, Furioso learned to trust them and became friends, especially becoming closer with Espoir City. Furioso also hopes one day she can take Espoir to see Funabashi with her.
- Smart Falcon - Rivals and Close Friends. Smart Falcon instantly took interest in Furioso when they met, and despite Furioso trying to push her away, Smart Falcon was determined to make Furioso her friend. Falcon, Espoir, and Furioso would often practice together, and over time, their friendship blossomed.
- Transcend - Rivals and Close Friends. Transcend is one of the few people who doesn't think Furioso is "scary" in Transcend's words. The two also share a friend in Espoir City.
- Wonder Acute - Friends. Wonder Acute helps to make Furioso feel at home and included at central through things such as cooking and giving her food from Funabashi, usually with the help of Transcend. This makes her "dangerous", in Furioso's words, but the two maintain a good bond regardless.
- Hokko Tarumae - Friends. Tarumae and Furioso bond over their shared goal of representing their respective hometowns, and Furioso seeks advice from Tarumae in how to better market Funabashi to the general public.
- Copano Rickey - Friends. Rickey respects Furioso's dedication to Funabashi, and wants to help her dream of representing it, and has also brought up the idea of going there on a trip to Funabashi alongside Transcend.
- Oguri Cap - Friends. Furioso relates to Oguri Cap as they are both transfers from the countryside, though Furioso envies her ability to transfer so seamlessly when Furioso struggles with her new life at central.

Trivia
- She was announced during the 3rd Anniversary PakaLive TV stream on February 22, 2024.
- While training with the main version of Furioso, one of the in-game events includes an earthquake that references the same earthquake that happened in Japan on 11th March, 2011 in real life. Because of the scale of the disaster, which may lead the reference to cause discomfort in individuals affected by it, the official Umamusume X account posted a warning about the reference.[1]
- She is the second Uma to have this warning, with the first being Transcend.
