Gran Alegria is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Biography

"You see, I'm unmatched on the mile! Doesn't matter if it's 0.75 miles or 1.25 miles!"

Miles and miles of possibilities! The strongest mile Umamusume.

Innocent and hyper-assertive in nature, she is a genius Umamusume with remarkable reflexes. She has established her own principles and lifestyle, living by a rather curious routine of activities such as "relaxing to the National Diet radio broadcast"—a set of standards she has labelled "My Rule".

Likes Exercising, Perfectly winding soft serve
Dislikes Deep-sea fish, Quiet places, Hide and Seek
Ears They make her sleepy extremely quickly when massaged.
Tail Before she sleeps, she uses a red ribbon to tie the hair at the end.
Family They have an "English Day" where the whole family speaks English.
Secrets She thinks the coolest kanji is "哩" (mile).
She gets a little disappointed when she thinks it's normal miles, but it turns out to be nautical miles.

Appearance

Gran Alegria has medium-length brown hair, tied into high twin-tails that flare out in playful arcs. A striking white patch marks the center of her bangs, cutting through her fringe like a painted streak. Above it, a soft, subtle ahoge springs upward. On left side of her bangs is an x-shaped hairclip. Her ears are deep brown with crimson interiors, with multiple gold earrings on her left ear. Her eyes are a rich amber-orange.

Her race outfit is mostly black and crimson with gold detailing. She wears a cropped vest with golden tassels and red plaid accents layered over a red halter top. A pair of decorative pins—including a yellow smiling face with "Ohamile" written on it and a gold megaphone with black and crimson letters "GA"—are attached to the left side of her chest. Her shorts are trimmed with red and gold, cut high and asymmetrical, with belts, chains, and tassels draping off her hips for added flair. A matching belt cinches her waist, adorned with a circular, gold-accented buckle. Black and red bracelets adorn her wrists. Around her thighs, she wears black garters and a golden strap on her left leg, paired with knee-high black socks that are decorated with white stripes. On her feet are oversized white sneakers, thick-soled and cartoonishly large. A red ribbon and gold tassels sways behind her, decorating the tail.
