"Japan's Umamusume take on the world, aiming to achieve the dream of winning the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe!"

Reach for the stars Project L'Arc (Reach for the stars プロジェクトL’Arc) is a scenario playable in Career Mode. It was added as the 6th permanent scenario in the game on August 24, 2023. The scenario follows the player's entrance into Mei Satake's "L'Arc Project", founded in pursuit of training the first Japanese winner of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in France, one of the most prestigious turf races in the world. This marks the first scenario centered around a race or race series outside Japan.

Since the scenario's release, characters added to the game that ran the Prix in real life have been added as Scenario Links.

Story

The world's most prestigious race is the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. In pursuit of victory, Tracen Academy has established the new "L'Arc Project". Challengers aiming to become world champions gather under its supervisor, Mei Satake.

Will they able to overcome diverse challenges overseas, and seize glory from the formidable opponents that stand in their way?

The curtains open on a voyage of chasing dreams and romance!

Stars' Matches

Overseas Expedition

Instead of the usual summer period, trainings around Classic and Senior year July and August will be an "Overseas Expedition" in France instead. In this period, trainees cannot participate in any Twinkle Series races (Japanese Races), Star Gauges cannot be raised and SS Matches cannot be triggered.

Trainings around this period provide more "Overseas Aptitude Points" which can be used to effectively participate in races held in France.

Overseas Aptitude

Representing the challenges of racing in France including in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe are a set of challenges. If not overcome, they provide debuffs to races in France, but if they are overcome, buffs are gained instead. Each Challenge has an Overseas Aptitude that corresponds to it, and the challenge is overcome if the Overseas Aptitude reaches Level 2.
