Mei Satake is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. She is featured on the Project L'Arc scenario alongside Rigantona and Venus Paques.

She is the founder of "Project L'Arc," a program that aims for a Japanese team to win the "Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe". Mei is a member of the URA's Tracen Academy enhancement division, and is close friends with President Akikawa, as if they were sisters. She has previously attempted to win the "Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe" with other participants, and the knowledge she gained from that experience lives on in her.

Secrets	She's very good at hand-to-hand sumo wrestling.

Appearance

Mei has messy short blonde hair, and wears a yellow and white baseball cap with Tracen Academy's logo front-and-center. Her cap is decorated with a golden ring on the left side, and three brown and teal buttons on the right side. She has short and thick blond eyebrows, and light yellow eyes. Mei wears a white hoodie with a dark brown shirt with several holes and tears on it on top. Atop of this, she wears a yellow jacket, decorated with brown hems, and brown stripes down her sleeves. On her back is a large yellow backpack. She wears a pair of brown shorts, and has lime green ankle socks underneath her yellow, white, and brown tennis shoes.

• Mei was highly speculated to be an Umamusume, based on the race horse Dictus.
  • References to Dictus include:
    • Her overall color scheme is similar to the Shadai racing silk.
    • She has chestnut-colored hair - Dictus was a chestnut horse.
    • She founded the "Project L'Arc" - Dictus was a French race horse, and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe was a race that takes place in France.
    • She was a close friend of Yayoi Akikawa, who was speculated to be based on Northern Taste. In real life, Northern Taste and Dictus were both top stallions of Shadai Farm at the time.
    • She has three badges on the right side of her cap. Umamusumes with ear accessories on their right side were based of horses that were male in real life, such as Dictus.
    • Her height was short, referencing the real life Dictus, who was known to have a small build.
    • Her birthday is the same as the real Dictus.
