Venus Paques is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. She is featured on the Project L'Arc scenario alongside Rigantona and Mei Satake.

Biography

"D'accord! I will win, as the hope of all France!"

She's a genius who loves her home country, France, and the country loves her back. She has a natural talent for racing, and has entered the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe without losing a single race. She has a "master" whom she has admired since she was young, but to her, her master is one of the rivals she must surpass.

Secrets	Her personal life is so sloppy that her master sometimes gets angry at her.

Appearance

Venus Paques wears her short blonde hair into a short low ponytail. Her bangs are messily swept to the right, with a contrasting neat braid holding the left side of her bangs in place. Paques wears a white sailor cap with blue lines on her left ear, decorated with a large red ribbon. She has a blonde tail, cut bluntly at the ends. Her eyes are bright blue, with dark blue diamond-shaped pupils.

Her race outfit is simple, yet elegant. She wears a light blue top with flared short sleeves. Her top garment is decorated by gold trim, as well as red accents, including red shoulder pads, tied in the center by a gold corded rope. Attached to her back are two separate blue capes, decorated with an elaborate gold pattern. In the center of her collar, she wears a large red diamond atop of a blue ribbon. On her right hand, she wears a white glove with gold trim, and on her left, a dark gray compression sleeve accompanied by a dark blue cuff. She wears light blue shorts with white frills at the end, with golden chevron-esque laces down the center. Around her waist is a dark blue belt with a golden shield-shaped emblem, and attached is a chain of golden diamonds, with red and blue gems dangling off the chain. On her left leg she wears a white knee-high sock with two blue stripes around the perimeter, as well as two simple light blue boots with gold trims.

• She is a game original character, meaning there is no real life race horse with the same name, but fans assume she's based on the real life horse Treve.
  • Although she has made an appearance outside the game in the manga Umamusumeshi, where it's also revealed that she's not good with knives (or cooking for that matter).
• She's the main roadblock for Trainers in the scenario Project L'Arc, she's presented as the biggest rival in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, with her stats at a higher level and with an unremovable jinx. At the senior race, she usually has stats exceeding a UG rank and multiple gold skills.
