Yaeno Muteki is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. She is also featured in the Cinderella Gray manga and anime.
Biography
"Ensuring that the Kongo Yaegaki school thrives is the only way I can repay gram—ahem, my grandparents, for everything they've given me."
She runs with the dignity of a warrior. This Umamusume is rough and rugged.
With fists that pierce the wind and kicks that shake the earth, this martial artist trains not to harm others but to succeed on the track. Though she strives to maintain discipline and decorum, her hotheaded side sometimes seeps to the surface. She loves her grandparents very much, and seeks to do them proud by spreading their school of martial arts far and wide.

Appearance
Yaeno-san, as fierce as fire and as calm as water, has focused brown eyes with a subtle greyish hue. Her short brown hair, calm in a bob-cut style, carries her fiery spirit with its spiked layers and a striking white blaze streak through her pointy bang. Her ears carry a unique and rare lightening at the tips. At the base of her right ear is a flower pinwheel with a hanging black ribbon. This pinwheel may symbolize the passage of life and growth in Shinto beliefs, represent good fortune, or simply just reflect her unique fashion sense.
Yaeno’s outfit draws inspiration from a Japanese Yukata, but with her own battle-ready spirit imbued. It’s multilayered and designed for mobility, featuring a sharp collar and a more flexible structure. The main dress is black and white with geometric red patterns near the chest, and it has a cutout design along with a sleeveless style. A traditional Obi belt is tied at the back, but Yaeno adds a separate red sash on top of it. She wears white sleeves tied to her arms with blue ribbons, and red fight gloves with metallic knuckles.
Her skirt is ruffled black, are white at the hem, and features a large tie at the top. The black and white parts of the skirt appear to be stitched together, possibly as separate pieces when you see the sides. Yaeno’s socks have a gradient design from dark to light, and her shoes combine two classic Japanese styles. The right shoe is a Waraji, a lightweight sandal worn during labor, while the left is a Geta sandal, a platform shoe commonly worn daily. Imbalanced footwear reflecting her journey to find balance and harmony within herself.
