Searching for a Reason (なんのために, Nan no Tame ni) is the 6th episode of the 2nd season of the Umamusume: Pretty Derby anime.
Summary
Teio, lost in despair and suffering another injury questions why she should keep running when her dreams have already crumbled. Assigned as "Leader" by Trainer, she reluctantly takes on supportive tasks, slowly regaining some life about why others race. A visit to McQueen at the Mejiro family's hidden retreat rekindles her spirit, as McQueen declares Teio as her reason to run, giving Teio a newfound purpose to chase after.
