Biography

"I'm Verxina. I refuse to give up until I conquer everything, and become the queen."

Arise to your worthy title of "Queen". A celebrity Umamusume with a determined spirit.

She is a confident young lady who takes pride in the fact that she deserves the title of "Queen," which is the highest position in the world. She is the eldest of three sisters and strives to set a good example for both of her sisters. She has been given a high-level education in a wealthy family and is very talented and accomplished. However, she has been cursed by the number "2", and has a difficult time winning.

Appearance

Verxina has long, dark indigo hair with a white diamond in the middle of her bangs. Her ears are short and round, and on her right ear she has two teal ear piercings. On her left ear she wears a black ear cover, she also sports a dark blue sailor cap that fades into turquoise, decorated with gold trim, as well as her family's crest, a golden anchor. Attached to the hat is a dangling circle earring with a white X-shaped gemstone in the center, and a blue gemstone at the end. Her eyes are dark purple, fading into light blue at the bottom, and she has a mole under her right eye.

Her racing uniform is a stylish outfit with multiple layers. She wears a blue and gold detachable collar(collar-type choker) with golden ornament around her neck. The top of her dress is a rich blue, with a straight across neckline, folded in a "V" shape at the center to reveal a black piece of fabric. Around her waist is a black corset with four gold buttons in the center. Verxina has asymmetrical sleeves, her right arm being bare with a dark blue cuff around her wrist, and her left arm covered with a white half-jacket, and full dark blue sleeve, attached is a turquoise cape that fades into pastel green. She has a layered skirt, the top half being dark blue with golden decor, underneath that is light turquoise translucent fabric that fades into pastel green. Attached to the dark blue section is a blue gradient strap that reads "VERXINA" in white lettering, with a golden "V" emblem at the end. The final layer is a dark blue pleated skirt, each pleat decorated with two light-gray chevrons. She wears plain black tights, and a copper bracelet composed of four-pointed stars around her left ankle. Her court shoes are plain, with golden heels and fan decorations in the center, however the left one is white, whereas the right is blue.

Personality

Verxina is a strong-willed and very caring older sister. Her determination to win is fueled not only to live up to her family's reputation but also to motivate her younger sisters. Her unbreakable resolve is a reason why she is looked up to by Vivlos.

She is often seen spending time with her younger sisters and pampering them.

Relationships

• Cheval Grand - Younger sister. They share similar adversities in their racing careers, despite taking different routes in their classic years. Because Verxina took the Tiara route and not the Crown route like Cheval, she struggles to help her and give her advice like she does with Vivlos, though she admires the strength Cheval has inside. Cheval feels frustration towards her and Vivlos internally, because she feels weak compared to both of them.
• Vivlos - Youngest sister. She looks up to Verxina as a role model and shares her celebrity like personality. She was even inspired to take on the Triple Tiara route because of her, since Verxina constantly got beaten by Gentildonna in that route. She vows to take revenge by entering the Tiara route, even at the risk of her health. On Verxina's end, she tends to pamper Vivlos the most, and wants what's best for her. She is also extremely protective of Vivlos, as she vows to not forgive the trainer if Vivlos ever gets hurt during her racing career because of them. They both go shopping together, and are around each other a lot.
  • IRL, Verxina, Cheval Grand, and Vivlos are all foaled by Halwa Sweet.
    • Verxina and Vivlos are both sired by Deep Impact, thus making them full sisters, whereas Cheval Grand was sired by Heart's Cry.
  • Vivlos eventually won the Shuka Sho in 2016, a race Verxina came 2nd in during her career, finally claiming them a tiara race victory.
• Gentildonna - Rival.
  • IRL, during her classic year, she lost to Gentildonna a total of 4 times consecutively, placing 2nd in all of them. She came the closest to winning at the 2012 Shuka Sho where they crossed the goal with a nose's difference between them. She went on to never win against Gentildonna in races they were in together but placed above her once at the 2014 Takarazuka Kinen with Verxina finishing 3rd and Gentil 9th, and shared their last run together at the 2014 Arima Kinen where Gentil once more solidified herself as the victor between them.
• Hokko Tarumae - Roommate.
  • IRL, they are both part of the 2012 generation, alongside Gold Ship, Fenomeno, and Gentildonna. However, Tarumae only ever ran on dirt so they never crossed paths in a race.
• Win Variation - Friends. The two seem to be kindred spirits, and encourage one another in times of need. Like Verxina, Win Variation is also the oldest of three sisters. However, despite Win Variation being the older one, Verxina sometimes treats her like a little sister, which annoys her.
  • IRL, Win Variation and Verxina's race records parallel each other's in places, with both of them always coming up short when facing against their respective generation's Sunday Racing owned Triple Crown/Tiara (Orfevre and Gentildonna) as well as placing above them exactly once all while not being able to tout complete victory due to not winning the race itself (2012 Tenno Sho (Spring) and 2014 Takarazuka Kinen).

Trivia

• Her design was shown during the opening of Season 3, but her name was officially announced on November 15, 2023.
• In Cheval Grand's career, Cheval mentions that Verxina used to admire an undefeated Triple Crown Umamusume as a kid. This Umamusume is a reference to Deep Impact, the Triple Crown winner of 2005.
  • Deep Impact is also the sire of Verxina and her full sister Vivlos IRL.
• She likes eating oshiruko. She also prefers chunky red bean paste.
• She's talented at trapping insects.
• She likes to do yoga in her free-time.
• Verxina heavily dislikes the number 2.
  • This is a reference to her placing 2nd place in all the Tiara races, losing to Gentildonna most of the time.
    • Aside from that, Verxina has 2 G1 wins, and is the second foal from her mother, Halwa Sweet.
