Orchestra in Late Autumn was a story event in the Umamusume: Pretty Derby Game that was held originally from October 28th to November 8th, 2021, while the English version of the event ran from December 14th to December 25th, 2025.

Summary

The Fleetfoot Festival holds a special meaning for Umamusume. Among the many important ceremonies, there's the archery show, where archers shoot targets representing bad luck, and the ceremonial dance devoted to the Three Goddesses. After being chosen as performers, Gold City and the others each dig deep and confront their feelings as they strive to make the festival a success.

Story

Episode 1 - In the Depths of Autumn

The story begins with a narration from Symboli Rudolf, where she briefly explains the events surrounding the annual Fleetfoot Festival, which goes on every autumn. In this festival, both Umamusume and humans come together to take part in fun and festivities. As the shrine is carried to the beat of music, three Umamusume offer up a dance to the Three Goddesses in worship. Meanwhile, arrows are released by two Umamusume so that misfortune can be warded off.

After this narration, the scene cuts to Tracen Academy's gymnasium, where the students are talking amongst themselves about the upcoming festival. Meanwhile, on the stage, Rudolf goes over details regarding the festival to the students. She also tells them that the URA has announced that Tracen Academy will be in charge of the ceremonial dance and archery this year.

Rudolf then calls the names of the three Umamusume who have been chosen to participate in the dance, who are Gold City, Curren Chan, and Yukino Bijin, much to the latter's dismay. After the announcement, Yukino is in the cafeteria fretting over the dance, as the other students gush over City and Curren's participation in the performance. Yukino begins to wonder why she was chosen compared to the model City and the influencer Curren, before Curren snaps her out of it.

Curren then gets an Umastagram notification from her phone, which tells her that her post about the festival got 27,000 likes, much to Yukino's terror. Yukino then checks City's manager's post about it, which got 10,000 likes. Yukino worries about how much attention is going to be drawn at the festival, while Curren wants to take a photo with her and City to post online.

Later, City is on the rooftop. She is checking through comments from her fans on Umastagram, who are excited to see her perform. Sighing, City realizes that she was mainly chosen due to her beauty and fame. The scene then cuts to Director Akikawa's office, where the Director happily approves the participating Umamusume's trip to the festival. Symboli Rudolf and Narita Brian will also be attending, as they are the ones who must set off the arrows at the festival.
