Taciturn Threat is the 2nd episode of the Umayuru anime.
Summary
People misunderstand Symboli Kris S emotions because of her expressions.
Plot
The episode consists of 3 separate incidents where Symboli Kris S startles people because of her perpetually stoic face.
The first incident has Special Week enjoying a fat load of limited edition carrot Salisbury steaks in the cafeteria, and just as she goes to grab the last steak in stock, she notices that Kris S was there staring at it, and the perpetual ominousness she gave was so off putting, Spe gives her the last one.
The second incident sees Matikanetannhauser walking with a cup of honeyade when she saw a spider. Naturally, she panics, accidentally launching her drink through the air in fear, which ended up landing on Kris S and staining her uniform. Machitan rapid fire apologizes and offers to clean her uniform with a napkin, searching for one until Kris S pulls out a napkin and Machitan cleans the stain with the one she had.
The third and final incident sees Meisho Doto thinking about what to order in a vending machine, before a shadow forms behind her. Doto sees this and gets nervous because she thinks she’s causing a hold up, only to notice Kris S and her stoic face behind her. She stumbles back, accidentally walks onto the vending machine, and in true Doto fashion, makes it start vomiting out product after product. Doto apologizes and gives Kris S a randomly dunked out item as compensation, but she realizes she accidentally gave Kris S a bowl of oden broth, panics, and runs out of the scene.
In the final scene, Kris S is sat on a bench with the broth can Doto gave her, thinking that everyone was too nice to her during all the day, but meanwhile her aura puts off the other Umas surrounding her.
