Just a Couple of Questions...

Hey Manikin, uhhh... I'm not good at starting conversations, darn it...

So... I'm newer to being a wiki editor, and I had some questions about things like formatting and whatnot. I've seen you around on the 'Recent Changes' page, so I thought I might as well ask, if that's not a bother to you.

Oh, yeah, and if I say something stupid, blame my ADHD.

Thanks,

Sure, ask away. Manikin (talk) 01:31, 19 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Right. I do a lot of song lyric translations, and most of the ones that include more than one singer (duet, trio, group) have colored lyrics to indicate who's singing. Thing is, I can't seem to figure out how to change the color of the text itself. Is it a format preset, or is there a selection or a dropdown for it while editing? Hmmm... I'm not familiar with that one, I believe there's some songs in the wiki like Umapyoi Legend that are multicolored, I think it is made with a preset because being consistent with colors in hexadecimal by hand is pure torture. And you need to call that preset with the corresponding character. I think by using the "Edit Source" feature, you can see how it works behind the scenes. I just checked it, apparentely there's a template for "singers" and one marked as "clr", which I assume is short for color. So yeah, that's pretty much the gist. I'll have to test it out first, but it should work now. The color itself, I'll have to figure out. I would think it's preset for whoever you enter in as, but I'll have to see. Alright, I just got it to work. Thanks! KeepCalmAndMambo (talk) 19:08, 19 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
