Ellerslie Pride is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, featured in the Cinderella Gray manga and anime.

Appearance

Ellerslie Pride has light blue hair kept long with ears and tail of the same color. She has a red ribbon at the back of her head and an ear ornament around attached to her right ear resembling a skull, a short dark cloth with four pointy ends extend from the ornament. Her eyes are magenta colored with both her eyebrows and eyelashes being lights blue. She also has a vertical scar across her left cheek. Her physique is slim but toned.

As her racing outfit Ellerslie Pride wears a black sleeveless blazer with long lapels crossed over each other, a white frill covering her chest, and a thick white stripe running diagonally that connects to a large white belt with a gold buckle tied around her waist, resembling a strap; below the belt, the blazer separates into three square flaps. With the blazer, she wears a matching pair of black detached sleeves with a white stripe that cover her arms between her shoulders and her hands; and a black skirt with white ruffled ends, beneath which she wears plain dark tights. For shoes, she wears matching black-and-white collared boots with silver soles and heels. She also wears a black necklace with a small silver skull pendant.

Trivia

• Due to her role in the story, she is likely based off of the real-life New Zealand racehorse Bonecrusher, who placed eighth in the 1988 Japan Cup.
  • Her name comes from the inscription on the plaque of a bronze life-size statue of Bonecrusher. It reads: "Bonecrusher: The Pride of Ellerslie."
