Not gonna lie, it's not everyday you see someone with a whole bio on a racehorse absolutely no one knows about... but I absolutely love it.

Seriously, though, if I hadn't named my account after Matikanetannhauser, I would have definitely went with Shocking. Shocking, am I right?

And while I'm at it, here's some random facts about the horse:

Shocking was an Australian racehorse born on September 23rd, 2005, born from Maria Di Castiglia and Street Cry. He had a strong racing record of twenty seven races, placing first seven times, second six times, and third twice, making fifteen out of his total starts in the top three. His most notable wins were the following: The 2009 Melbourne Cup, the 2009 Lexus Stakes, the 2010 Makybe Diva Stakes, and the 2011 Australian Cup. The Australian Cup ended up being his final start, as he is now retired. He was awarded the Australian Champion Stayer award for 2009 and 2010, as he was primarily a stayer, but was also proficient in mile and medium races. He went on to have kids such as Fanatic, Defibrillate, Here To Shock, I'm Thunderstruck, and El Vencedor, all of which have had at least one major win. Plus, they also have weird names.
