Templates

For how to use templates in general, see MediaWiki's guide.

Each page that contains data of some sort (Characters, Songs, etc.) will have one main template in each page. Some pages (like Albums) will have additional templates to add supplementary data. These data templates have side effects and should only be used on the page in which they are describing. In general, you should be able to either copy the format of an existing page of this type, or use the provided boilerplates on the edit page. Each template page (and the template editor, if using the visual editor) should have a list of its parameters, so reference that if you are confused.

Image Tagging

In order to get images to appear in the character galleries, you need to add the gallery image template into the files summary, which is as follows:

[https://website.com Source]
{{Gallery Image
|type=
|caption=
|characters=
}}

You can add/edit this template in two ways. The first being the "Summary" template when you first upload an image, and the second is going to the image's page and pressing "Edit Source"

The source section may not be applicable for all images, for example, in-game uploads, but please include a link to any official medium you got the image from if possible. This includes links to the official website, links to the specific tweet you sourced the image from, etc.

The image types that can be added into the "types" section are:

  • 1koma - In-game 1koma comics. Usually handled by automated gallery uploads.
  • anime - Media that is used to promote one of the anime series, such as key visual artworks and eyecatches.
  • socials-art - Art uploaded by any of the official social media accounts, or any associated accounts. Such as countdown art, G1 images, etc.
  • supportcard - In-game support cards. Handled by automated gallery uploads.
  • merch - Used for any images of merchandise.
  • gameasset - Assets from the game. Usually handled by automated gallery uploads.
  • stamp - Stamps from in-game and LINE collections.
  • other - Any images that do not fit into the categories listed above.

The "caption" section should be used to describe what the image is, or where it came from.

The "characters" section should list each character featured in the image, separated by a comma. For example:

|characters= Special Week, Silence Suzuka, Tokai Teio
