Yui Kondo (近藤 唯) is the voice actress for Biwa Hayahide in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Background

Yui is from Kanagawa Prefecture. Growing up, she had always loved watching anime and movies, and started to become interested in voice acting in her later elementary school years. Her dream had used to change all the time, but after she officially decided to become a voice actor in junior high school, the dream never wavered once. Her original plan had to been to enter a voice acting school as soon as she finished junior high school, but her parents encouraged her to finish out high school- she decided that if her feelings about voice acting didn't change at all during high school, she would definitely pursue voice acting, and of course, they did not change. Her parents were somewhat worried at first, but were still supportive. While in high school, she participated in a trial enrollment at the Nihon Kogakuin College Voice Acting and Acting Department, and then would later enroll. She joined Kenyu Office shortly after graduating[1].

Her first major roles were Furano Yukihira in Noucome and Karen Shinomiya in THE iDOLM@STER: Million Live, both in 2013.
