Lord Royal is a character in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, featured in the Cinderella Gray manga.
She has a proud and confident personality, calling herself "King of the Road" and "the Lord of the Breakaway", and likes to imagine herself sitting on a throne after winning races.
Lord Royal is based on the real horse Legend Teio, who raced against Oguri Cap several times. Before one Mainichi Okan, Lord Royal is accidentally punched in the face by Sirius Symboli dancing in the paddock, causing injury and withdrawal from the race, mirroring a real-life incident between the two horses that occurred in the 1988 Mainichi Okan.
