Background
Rena Maeda was born in Fukuoka Prefecture. As a high school student, she would at first be interested in becoming a fashion designer, due to the influence of her parents being a part of the fashion industry. She owes her inspiration to become a voice actress from her classmate that invited her to karaoke: her classmate sang anime songs, and after coming home, she started watching anime and became interested in anime media and becoming a voice actress.[1]
She would graduate from the Fukuoka School of Music, and in 2010 joined AIR AGENCY. In 2014, she would earn her first leading role as Nike Remercier in The World is Still Beautiful. She would join her current agency Stay Luck on March 1st, 2017.[2]
