Background
Kotomi was born in Aichi Prefecture. When she was in 5th grade, she watched Cardcaptor Sakura and HUNTER×HUNTER for the first time, and decided after watching them that she wanted to become a "2-dimensional boy". This eventually evolved into a desire to become a voice actress[1][2]. She has had an interest in more boyish characters since she was little, such as in kindergarten, when she had a collection of Sailor Uranus merchandise. In general, she has a more boyish, lower speaking voice, so those types of characters are what she feels most confident with[3].
