The Godolphin Arabian, also called the Godolphin Barb,[Note 1] was one of the three dominant foundation sires of the modern thoroughbred horse.

- ↑ While Umamusume refers to the character as the Godolphin Barb, historical sources disagree on the breed of the foundational sire. It is possible that the Barb name comes from the horse being from the Barbary Coast as opposed to being of the Barb breed.
