Honoka Inoue (井上ほの花) is the voice actress for Aston Machan in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
Background
Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Honoka is the daughter of Kikuko Inoue, Sasami Anshinzawa's voice actress[1]. She first made her debut in 2015 under the stage name HONOKA singing the song "LOVE FANTASY" in Taiko no Tatsujin, which would be followed with a voice acting debut in 2016[2]. She would also release her first mini-album, "FIRST FLIGHT", in 2016[3]. The following year in 2017, she would release the single "Sparkling Chinatown"[4].
Honoka had first decided she wanted to be a voice actress like her mother since she was quite young, around nursery school age. Also, since she had been little, Honoka had always wanted to be a magician. When she would tell Kikuko this, Kikuko would always tell her that "smiles are magic". As she aged, her dreams changed a bit, but she did maintain both of these dreams; in junior middle school, she reiterated her wish to become a voice actress, but at that time her mother reminded her that she had been struggling with kanji, so it seemed impossible. However, she returned to the idea of being a voice actress after her singing debut and hopes that by being a voice actress, traveling across the world and helping people learn more about anime, that she can bring that happiness to people[5][6].
