But she's not pacing herself at all. With each lap, her pace slows.

"Yo, Dual Booster! Isn't it about time for a break?"

"It's Twin Turbo! And I'm doing one last lap, so Teio—time me!"

"I mean, the harder I try, the faster I get! That's how it works in my games, too! No way I'm ever giving up!"

"And if it's like my games, I haven't activated my unique skill yet! Let's go, Turbo Booooost!"

Twin Turbo blazes away once more. Nevertheless, she quickly loses steam, and her running gets shaky.

Still, the way she just keeps going, as though forward is the only direction she knows...

"Man, she's so cool..."

トレーニングコースを全力で走る。

「ひぃ……ふぅ……はぁ……」

しかし、常に全力疾走。
周回するたびに、走る速度は落ちてゆく。

「おーい、デュアルブースター！
そろそろ休憩したら？」

「ツインターボ！
それよりもう1回走るから
ちゃんとタイム計ってて、テイオー！」

「ゲームでもそうだったもん。
がんばればがんばっただけ速くなるっ！
あきらめるなんて、ぜったいやだ！」

「またゲームみたいなスキルを出すんだ！
いくよ、ターボぜんかぁぁいっ！！」

再び勢いよく走り出すツインターボ。
しかし、すぐに失速してフラフラし始める。

それでも、
ひたすらに前を向き走り続けるその姿は――
