In response to the cameraman's question, Oguri Cap nods with a straight face. However, the fact that her tail is swaying back and forth doesn't escape the eyes of the reporter. At Oguri's level of competition, she must have to train long hours every day, so the reporter asks if this is her way of recharging herself after a long day's work.

Oguri Cap: "No, I just want to eat, that's all. I love eating. Food, eating, and filling up my stomach... I love it all."

Still staring at the food, Oguri Cap's pupils light up like comets glittering in the night sky.

Oguri: "Mind if I begin? Oh, and feel free to try some too. Well then... don't mind if I do!"

With a smile like a flower in full bloom, she digs into the food, and with that, the cameraman is able to catch a rare glimpse of the cool racer's private life.

思わず尋ねたカメラマンに、真顔で頷く
オグリキャップ。しかし、その尻尾が
揺れていることに、筆者は気づいていた。

――オグリさんレベルになると、
トレーニングの負荷も相当でしょうし、
体力を回復させるため……でしょうか？

オグリキャップ（以下オグリ）：いや。
ただ、たくさん食べたいだけだ。
好きなんだ。ご飯が……食べることが……
お腹いっぱいにしてくれる、全部が好きだ。

そう言い切るオグリキャップの瞳が、
彗星のように煌めいた。

オグリ：食べていいか？
よかったら、みんなも。
それじゃあ……いただきます！

まるで花が咲いたような笑顔。心から、
食事を喜ぶ……クールな“アイドルウマ娘”
の意外な素顔を、カメラマンは捉えていた。
