She sits alone in an empty classroom, reviewing race footage. Enraptured by the blindingly confident strides on screen, she unconsciously gives voice to her thoughts.
"Even if this is what I'm up against... I have to shine brighter."
But before she can contemplate further, her thoughts are interrupted by the door being boldly thrown open.
"Why, if it's not the lovely Admire Vega! Fancy meeting you here—nay, it must be the hand of fate... the will of destiny that draws us together!"
Upon recognizing the voice of the intruder, Admire Vega quietly closes her laptop.
"I hope I haven't kept you waiting, my dear rival! But be assured, I'll not delay our passionate duet another second!"
"...I wasn't 'waiting' for you, and we're rivals on the track, not the stage."
Even as she speaks, she slips her laptop into her bag and starts to make for the door.
"Such a difficult expression clouds your fair countenance! Let us tackle your worries together! Ahhh, I can see it play out in my mind's eye—and what a tender, heartwarming scene it is!"
