Trainer (トレーナー, Torēnā) is one of the supporting characters in the Umamusume Anime.

He's only an anime-only character, but he plays an important role on the formation of Team Spica, and represents the player of the mobile game.

Although no official name has been given, being credited as simply Trainer, fans call him by different names:

Okino T/Okino Trainer - Based on the name of his VA, and Misato Akasaka's VA calling him this way on the 4th Umamusume Live Event.
Ryo Nishizaki (西崎リョウ) - This name appeared on the official book of the setting materials for the anime's first season.^[1]

- The lyrics kimi no aiba ga! (Your favorite horse!) get changed to ore no aiba ga! (My favorite horse!)

His appearance is similar to that of Yo Oizumi, who has appeared in some JRA commercials.
