Consistency on Terminologies

Okay, I know it's a nerdy topic, but it's kinda weird that nobody is really consistent on some terms. The most noticeable ones, for example, are how the community can't decide between using "sire"/"-sire" or "father"/"-father." But does this issue really exist or need to be fixed? Thoughts? Neigh.
