			== Plot ==
			Months after recovery, Tokai Teio returns to the track. Though she is slower than ever, the simple fact that she is running again brings joy to those watching. With a fresh start and a new mindset, Trainer devises a new regimen for her. Noticing the messy state of Trainer’s office, she teases him, only to realize he has been hard at work scouting the competition throughout the summer. Wanting to help in some way, she takes matters into her own hands—camera in hand...she embarks on her next big mission!

			Deep in the shadows of Tracen Academy, one undercover photographer will stop at nothing to uncover the truth! Disguised in an absurd get-up, Teio begins her reconnaissance mission. Her "stealth" is so terrible that she ends up drawing even more attention. First, she scouts Winning Ticket of BNW, then shimmies over to snap pictures of Mejiro Palmer. From the second-story balcony, President Rudolf observes Teio’s suspicious movements, wondering what on earth she is doing. When Teio reaches Rice Shower, her antics begin to look outright like a peeper.

			Taking a break near the vending machine, Teio is confronted by BNW’s Biwa Hayahide. Analyzing her aura, Teio mentally records notes of Biwa’s past races. However, Biwa focuses on the soda in Teio’s hand, misinterpreting it as a choice for peak efficiency. Her next targets are Matikanetannhauser and Nice Nature. But Nature catches her mid-operation. The two share a quiet conversation as they watch the other girls train. Nature confesses that she once contemplated giving up due to injury, but when she heard Teio was returning, it reignited her own fire. She asks Teio to confess her feelings to her friends like she did if she gets the chance.

			In the distance, a wild Twin Turbo appears. Teio, on her way to thank Team Spica, casually waves at Turbo, and shocking her by calling her by her correct name. After handing Trainer her scouting notes, Teio takes time to personally thank each of her Spica teammates. However, when she finds McQueen training in the evening and walks home with her, she struggles. The words won’t come out. Teio fidgets, squirming in frustration, unable to understand why. McQueen, amused, jokes that Teio looks like she’s trying to confess her love. Embarrassed, Teio runs off in confusion, questioning what just happened.

			The next morning, McQueen finds Teio looking exhausted, having barely slept. Concerned, she checks her forehead for a fever. Teio, flustered, jumps back, insisting nothing is wrong. She tries to thank McQueen again, but the words stick in her throat. Throughout the day, Teio agonizes over her inability to say what she easily told everyone else. Special week chimes in and the two go out shopping to find a gift. Along the way, they run into Satono Diamond and Kitasan Black and a new conversation strikes up. When Teio explains her struggle, Kitasan and Diamond attempt to demonstrate how to properly express gratitude. While effective, Kitasan is left utterly embarrassed. Taking everything into account, Teio devises a plan.

			The next morning, McQueen discovers a note in her locker, It's Teio asking her out on a date. Decked out in festive Halloween decorations, the local mall becomes the setting for their outing. Together, they play games, grab snacks, and take pictures in a photo booth. As the day winds down, they finish it on the rooftop chatting as the sun sets.

			They discuss McQueens upcoming races, leading to the question of Teio’s future. Confident that Teio will win the fan vote for the Arima Kinen, but Teio dismisses the idea, admitting she isn’t in the right condition to run. Even so, despite the heartbreak and the reality that she may never race as she once did, ''maybe'', just maybe, they will stand on the track together again someday.

			As the moment lingers, Teio finally finds the courage to speak. Placing down her cup, she takes a deep breath. She has always looked up to McQueen. She is strong, cool, and dignified. All this time, Teio felt embarrassed to say it, but McQueen is a special person to her, and she sincerely thanks her. McQueen is stunned, because in truth, McQueen has always looked up to Teio as well.

			The two burst into laughter at their confessions and indulge in sweets until the day ended.
