	Back at the Kikkashou, BNW continues to dominate. Biwa Hayahide wins the race in record time, earning the praise of observers, noting that even within BNW she stands out. That evening, Team Spica celebrates the race by dining at city stalls, while McQueen continues her training into the night. It’s earlier than usual when she finishes, and with clear discomfort in her leg, she asks her butler to call for a doctor. Elsewhere, Teio slips away from the Spica outing to buy a gift for McQueen. And as for McQueen, the doctor tells her to let it rest for the time being.		Back at the Kikkashou, BNW continues to dominate. 	The next morning, McQueen is summoned by the headmistress. Meanwhile, Teio waits to give McQueen her gift—until she notices the expiration date. With no time to waste, she rushes off to the Mejiro estate to deliver it in person. Teio was straight ballin, putting the new forgis on the jeep. But she wasn't balling anymore when she met the distressed Mejiro butler who informs her: McQueen isn’t home. And more than that—she’s hurt. A serious chronic ligament tear. Long recovery. Career-ending potential. Perhaps even life long impairment. Teio’s heart drops. But there’s no time to mourn—McQueen is missing. A call comes in. Teio bolts out the ~~door~~ and sprints toward the sanatorium.		The next morning, McQueen is summoned by the headmistress. She tells herself she’s fine, that this pain is nothing. She remembers the conversation with the headmistress, her grandmother, urging her to stop, to end her racing career for her own sake. She’s already done everything. She’s conquered the Tennoushou. It would be okay to stop now... But McQueen couldn’t accept that. She rejected her grandmother’s plea, defiant, storming off. She would race. She would keep going.		Alone on the track, McQueen runs, her knee taped tightly, the rain soaking her through. She forces herself forward but each step was a struggle.
