Among the participants was the previous fall Tennoushou winner and Ikuno Dictus. As the race began, Ikuno surged to the front, with Teio maintaining a steady position in the upper half of the pack. But as the final stretch approached, the gap between them shrank. Ikuno gritted her teeth while Teio began closing in. She made it look effortless, just like that, Teio overtook her and crossed the finish line first. Trainer was at a loss for words. Something about what he had just witnessed unsettled him, though he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. Maruzensky and Symboli Rudolf watched from the stands, wondering how had Teio become even faster ''after'' her injury?
