== How to Play ==

In Gourmet Gauntlet, you pick two characters to play. The first will be the Server, and the second will be the Eater. Players control the Server, and run around the field to gather dishes to bring back to their table to feed the Eater. The team with the most dishes eaten at the end of the time limit wins.

=== Dashing ===
Dashing will move your Server quickly forward at the cost of stamina.

=== Plates ===
Press the pick up button to pick up the nearest plate on the ground. Servers can carry up to two dishes at a time. You can drop the last dish you picked up by pressing the drop button. To serve a dish, go to the area by the table your Eater is at and press the pick up button. Only 5 plates can be on the table at any time.

=== Combos ===
Each dish on the ground will have a certain color of plate. Serving a dish with the same color as the last dish you served will rack up a Combo, increasing the speed the Eater can eat at. Serving a dish with a different color will break the combo, slowing down the Eater. If you manage to have all 4 colors (red, yellow, green, and blue) of dish on the table at the same time, your Eater will gain speed back. Special rainbow dishes will act as wild cards, allowing you to transition to another color of plate without breaking your combo.

=== Skills ===
Eaters will charge their skill by eating food, and Servers will charge their skill slowly over time. Skills differ by character, and are different when acting as an Eater or a Server.

== Special Dishes ==
Rarely, special rainbow plates will appear on the field. As well as letting players avoid breaking their combo, they provide additional effects.
