			As the sun rises, Tokai Teio seems to have made her decision. Her goal board has been packed away, and a letter of withdrawal sits on her desk. There is nothing left for her to do except give up.

			Rumors of Teio’s retirement begin to spread. The Spica girls grow concerned, noticing her absence from club activities for the past few days. But McQueen remains focused, she doesn’t have the time to dwell on Teio’s situation. For both herself and Teio, she must continue moving forward.

			Elsewhere, Twin Turbo finally secures her first victory in a while at the Tanabata Sho. As always, she takes the opportunity to call out her self-proclaimed rival, Tokai Teio. At the same time, Teio meets with President Rudolf, officially expressing her gratitude before stepping away from racing. Trainer Hana, unintentionally eavesdropping from behind the door, overhears the conversation.

			Walking through Tracen Academy, Teio watches the other girls running and reminds herself—she doesn’t have to run anymore. With no obligations left, she decides to indulge. She orders a honey drink, double, extra thick and extra rich. She plays the claw machine, tries on cute outfits, sings her heart out at karaoke, visits the zoo, pets some cats, rides a panda ride, truly, what a wonderful and joyous day. And yet...as she walks through the city in the evening, everything suddenly becomes quite....she wonders...''has a day always felt this long?''

			Returning to Tracen, she runs into Kitasan Black, her young admirer. Kitasan has worked hard to make her a charm, but Teio refuses to accept it. Instead, she tells Kitasan to find someone else to look up to. The words crush her, and Kitasan bursts into tears as Teio walks away. Arriving at her dorm, Teio finds a challenge note from Twin Turbo for the upcoming festival, she clenches it tightly in frustration.

			That night, Trainer Hana shares what she overheard with Trainer. Trainer reflects on Teio’s journey, knowing how much effort she has put in. Seeing her fully give up weighs on him. He doesn’t care if she can never be as strong as before, he just wants to see her on the track again. If nothing else, she deserves to end her career with something meaningful.

			The next morning, Trainer officially informs Spica that Teio has withdrawn. The girls react as if they’ve lost someone, pouring their emotions out. McQueen, however, keeps her feelings bottled up. But then, Teio appears, casually grabbing her supplies. Trainer takes this opportunity to propose an idea—one last performance at the festival. Team Spica rallies behind her, urging her to accept. McQueen tells her she still aims to be the strongest, even without Teio there as the goal post. Teio agrees.

			As preparations for the festival get underway, Twin Turbo is training for her upcoming race, convinced that she will face Teio. Meanwhile, Spica is busy setting up for the event. That evening, Turbo finds Teio practicing her dance alone and confronts her. Why won’t she challenge her? Turbo plans to compete in the All Comers race, a stacked event filled with strong runners. Teio should be there too. Teio calmly tells her that she isn’t racing anymore. Refusing to accept this, Turbo asks if Teio will race her if she wins the All Comers. Teio shows brief frustration but brushes it off, repeating her decision to retire. Turbo refuses to let it go, insisting that the real Teio would never give up. At those words, Teio momentarily loses her composure, snapping at Turbo. Turbo, unwilling to back down, runs off crying, devastated by Teio’s cold response.

			Still upset, Turbo breaks down to Team Canopus, declaring that she will prove Teio wrong. She vows to win the All Comers and show her the strength of never giving up. However, when she learns that the festival and her race are on the same day, meaning Teio likely won’t see it, she pleads with Trainer to do something. He quietly devises a plan with Team Canopus as preparations continue.

			The fan appreciation festival finally arrives. Tracen Academy is packed with enthusiastic fans. Backstage at the outdoor theater, Teio shares one last moment with Spica before her farewell performance. She steps onto the stage to a roaring crowd. Addressing them, she thanks everyone and apologizes for everything. As she prepares to announce her retirement, she notices Kitasan Black in the front row, sobbing and pouring her heart out. Then Trainer speaks up. Then the passionate otakus. Then the entire crowd.

			Suddenly, the theater screen cuts to a live broadcast of the All Comers race. Twin Turbo is at the front, running at full force just as she always does. Rice Shower, Ikuno Dictus, Ebon Stayer, Weiss—none of them can catch her. She’s in the lead, pushing herself beyond her limits. Exhausted but determined, she screams, “''This is what happens when you don’t give up!''” and calls out Teio’s name as she crosses the finish line, collapsing from the effort. She has finally done it.

			Teio watches, eyes welling with tears. Spica rushes out from backstage, begging her to come back. The crowd begins chanting her name, a chorus of voices calling out for her return. Overwhelmed, she turns to face them, tears streaming down her face.
