			Eishin Flash made his debut on July 12th, in a 1,800-meter turf race at Hanshin Racecourse. Though he lost and placed 6th, he broke out of his maiden on October 11th, where the distance was increased to a 2,000-meter race. A few weeks later, on October 31st, he placed 3rd in the open-class Hagi Stakes. At the end of the year, he ran in the allowance-race Erica Sho on December 13th, where he won the race.
