At the start of 2023, Daring Tact was still active and planned to race in the G3 Neom Turf Cup in Saudi Arabia. However, she was found to be unsteady after training on February 7th. Although there was no obvious injury after an X-ray examination, the decision to withdraw from the race and go into recuperation was made after careful consideration by the team.

	After a recurrence of suspensory desmitis was discovered during her recuperation, the decision to arrange her retirement was finally made after discussions as she never won a race ~~anymore after~~ the Shuka Sho~~, with the official cancellation of the~~ horse's registration on October 26th.
